I wondered if this would happen after Gatsby was postponed. At least this gets it away from The Hobbit. They may have even been considering this because most of the promotional material for the film didn't use the date Dec. 14, but "The Dream Lives This Christmas."

The recent insanity of my life *may* be settling down. So I'll go through a few things that need updating here.

No big Les Mis movie news here but two films set to premiere near to the same time have been making news for other reasons. Because these are all Oscar-bait movies (as is Les Mis) I thought these worth mentioning.

Though unconfirmed, Les Misérables appears to be moving its release date back a week to Dec. 14. This put it head-to-head against The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
